IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING...
For 2021, we have set up separate registrations for the two options in our BVL Fall Ball program.
Register HERE for our traditional BVL Sunday Skills program. Alternatively, scroll down below on the page to register your son for our CYLA Fall League program.
BVL Sunday Skills is our traditional Fall Ball program: six Sunday sessions held outside at Manhattan Middle School in Boulder. Beginning, intermediate, and advanced players are welcome to register for the Sunday Skills program. We will group players on the basis of age, experience & skill level. Sessions will consist of fast-paced drills & skill development, with game-like situations and scrimmages at the end of each session.
US LACROSSE: All registrants must have a valid US Lacrosse membership valid through October 31, 2021. This registration will redirect you to the US Lacrosse site first to obtain membership if necessary. If you have issues with US Lacrosse membership, please email email@example.com-- it will not prevent your son from playing with us this fall. Cost is $30. This is a condition of our insurance provider and a requirement of participation in BVL.
GROUP FORMATION: We will group all players on the basis of grade, and prior lacrosse experience, in preparation for the Spring 2022 CYLA season. For example, a player who was a 3rd grade (U9) player last spring will now be a 4th grade (U10) player this year.
Sunday Skills Field Assignments: Parents will receive an email regarding their son's specific field and group assignment at Manhattan no later than Wednesday September 8th. First session will be held on Sunday September 12th.
SUNDAY SKILLS DATES: Sundays September 12, 19, 26 and October 3, 10, 17.
SUNDAY SKILLS TIMES: 1100am- 100pm.
SUNDAY SKILLS LOCATION: Outdoors at Manhattan Middle School lacrosse fields, 290 Manhattan Drive, Boulder.
UNIFORMS: All returning BVL players should wear their numbered Stylax game jerseys to every session. New players participating in the Sunday Skills program will be provided with a reversible Boulder Lacrosse practice jersey.
EQUIPMENT: Players must provide their own equipment. We have a limited supply of equipment which may be available to borrow. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire. All equipment is loaned on a first-come, first-served basis and we cannot make any guarantees about availability. You will need to purchase any equipment that is not available to borrow (see list below).
Our final equipment loan session will be held on Wednesday September 8th, 500pm to 600pm, at the BVL equipment shed on the north side of Manhattan Middle School, 290 Manhattan Drive, Boulder. Access is easiest from Tenino Ave. THIS IS THE ONLY REMAINING OPPORTUNITY TO BORROW LACROSSE EQUIPMENT FROM US.
- Boys must have a boys lacrosse stick, helmet, gloves, shoulder and elbow pads, a cup, and a mouthguard.
- Hockey gear is acceptable for new players. Hockey helmets must have a 4 point strap and be NOCSAE approved
- We recommend Dick's Sporting Goods for lacrosse gear. See coupons for Dick's Sporting Goods on our website.
- BVL members will save 20% off all in-store purchases (not just lacrosse gear) at Dick's Sporting Goods during BVL Shop Days from August 20th through 23rd.
$165. $115, pro-rated for 4 remaining sessions, plus any US Lacrosse membership cost or renewal ($30).
WAIT-LISTED PLAYERS: Unpaid registrants will be wait-listed if payment is not received within 24 hours of registration. Team limits have been set for all grades in the system-- once a grade is full, players will be automatically wait-listed and may not be guaranteed placement on a team. We DO NOT RECOMMEND that you delay registering or payment as groups will fill up.
SCHOLARSHIPS: Scholarships are available to qualified families, please contact email@example.com to make a confidential request.
DONATIONS: Please consider making a donation on the online registration form. 100% of our donations are used to fund scholarships for BVL players. Boulder Valley Lacrosse is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, so your donation is tax-deductible.
REFUNDS: Refund requests must be received by September 11th- no refunds will be provided after a program has started. Any refund awarded will have a minimum 10% processing charge deducted.
